These folded paper sculptures are inspired by Beethoven's Grosse Fuge Op. 133 in Bb major, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of his birth. We printed Beethoven's hand-written sheet music onto the paper, highlighting Beethoven's creative process. Listening to the music while folding along concentric circles had a dramatic effect on the folded form.
