These images show Victoria Hart folding a crane according to the algorithm
presented in the paper
``Reaching Folded States of a Rectangular Piece of Paper''
by Joseph Mitchell and myself.
The algorithm involves a continuous unrolling process,
which I did not expect to be possible in practice.
One key idea of Victoria's is to use an already folded crane as an underlying
structure in order to follow the execution of the algorithm.
Victoria performed this folding after seeing my talk at the
13th Canadian Conference on
Computational Geometry in August 2001, Waterloo, Canada.
